The Filtering System

Hello email subscribers.

This email is a bit of a test to see if I’m having problems getting into your inbox.

In one of the more confusing outcomes of recent times, our recent article on the narrative discussion around the Raiders has ended up in your spam folder. I know this because a good chunk of people didn’t open it. It’s a pretty good article. You can read it here if you haven’t. You should just clink the link anyway. Give me the ol’ dopamine hit. It’s been a rough week and I’m very tired.

Subsequent to sending that out I was informed by a bunch of people (thanks to all of you) that it had been marked as a potential ‘scam’ by Gmail. I do not know why this happened, other than my assumption that the idea of hoping the Raiders win the premiership may be the greatest trick the devil ever pulled.

If you’re reading this and it’s flowed through easily then no problems, we’ll all go one with our lives. But if it gets picked up again it would be great if you could mark it not a scam, and tell the world to do the same.

As we’ve said many times, our Raiders obsession is only crazy if no one is reading.

  2. Hi Dan

    Just an FYI

I received the previous email with a warning of “dangerous content” in big red letters !! which I immediately ignored

Regardless, I am still receiving all of your emails and this appears to have been an isolated incident
